LI Traditions and TravelStorys have created a series of self-guided cell phone tours around NY State. 

•  “Long Island Back Story” explores Long Island’s South Shore maritime culture including bay houses.

• “East End Backstory” explores the maritime culture of the East End including the Combs Decoy Shop at Hallockville.

• North Shore Back Story tour explores the maritime culture of sites from Port Washington to Port Jefferson, including the Port Washington Water Taxi and West Meadow Beach.

•  The Long Island Diversity Tour explores Long Island’s cultural diversity, from Hempstead to the Shinnecock Reservation.

• The Hamptons Civil Rights Back Story Tour explores the struggle for equal rights by African American residents, from Southampton to East Hampton.

• The Nassau County Civil Rights Back Story Tour explores the struggle for equal rights in Roslyn, Roosevelt, Hempstead and Malverne/Lakeview.
