This workshop will demonstrate best practices for culturally responsive teaching that meets current federal law and state standards in the general classroom. Working with qualified local teaching artists, teachers will earn 12 CTLE hours and leave with ideas for lessons and activities that inspire inquiry and foster a classroom culture of belonging and acceptance. Additionally, 8 educators will have the opportunity to host an artist for two visits in their classroom in the fall of 2025 at no cost.
