Description:
This house is a unique example of the Italianate style in its neighborhood, and it is remarkably intact. Two stories high and five bays wide, its rectangular massing creates a balanced, symmetrical façade. Its flat roof and elaborate decorations are also typical of Italianate architecture. The house is of frame construction and clad in wood shingle. Fascia trim and paired brackets create the original wood cornice. The porch is supported by slender round posts with carved brackets. The windows are detailed by exterior mouldings that include a wide lintel detail. The front door is topped by a transom. The house is painted amber with yellow trim. One interior brick chimney is located on the north façade.
