Description:
Typical of folk houses of the late Victorian period, this house has an L-shaped plan and square, symmetrical massing. Two stories high and two bays wide, this house is clad in cream asbestos clapboard. Its cross gable roof is clad in asphalt shingle. The windows are one-over-one replacements. The simple wrap around porch is supported by spindle posts. The interior brick chimney is located on the south façade’s gable end.
This house appears on a 1915 map of Patchogue as a property owned by Orin Smith.
